Welcome to Thames Valley Scaffold, based in Reading we operate throughout the Thames Valley, the South of England and the wider London area.
We are a professional scaffolding contractor providing access solutions to commercial, industrial and residential clients of all sizes. Years of experience working in busy London boroughs mean we have the necessary experience to safely manage and execute projects of all complexity and in challenging locations.
As a result of our professional and safe approach to scaffolding we are expanding all the time, this requires ongoing investment in plant, vehicles, health and safety and the continued professional development of our dynamic team members.
Thames Valley Scaffold will take care of all your access requirements from the initial design, application for all licences (where applicable) and parking suspensions with the local authorities, fully supervised installation through to the dismantle phase.

Scaffolding Estimating
At Thames Valley Scaffold we understand the importance of returning concise and detailed tender documentation to our clients whatever the scale of the project.
- You will receive a fully itemised breakdown of all costs rather than lump sums.
- Estimating from supplied technical drawings or site visits with client
- Rapid returns on estimates. We appreciate that on occasions there is a need for swift responses to tender requests, we aim to return scaffolding quotes within 48 hours of a site visit or from supplied technical drawings
Scaffolding Quality Control
Ensuring our scaffolds meet all current British Standards along with the latest NASC TG20:21 guidance is of paramount importance to us and our clients.
When using Thames Valley Scaffold for your next access solutions you can be assured of the following:
- Scaffold boards conforming to BS 2482:2009
- Scaffold fittings conforming to BS EN 74-1:2005
- Tube conforming to BS 39:2001
- Ladders conforming to BS EN 131-1:2015
- Prior to work commencing on site, technical drawings will be issued using our “SMART Scaffolder: scaffolding design and estimating software” for scaffolds falling under the scope of TG20:21
- Design drawings issued by temporary works engineer for more complex scaffolds
- All scaffold erections and striking will be fully supervised to ensure scaffolds are installed to regulations and as per the drawings
- Compliance sheet issued for all TG20:21 scaffolds
- Handover certificate issued on completion
- Weekly inspections and record keeping of the scaffold condition
