Scaffolds to chimneys are required for repointing, installing flue liners for wood burners and other general maintenance. Thames Valley Scaffold can supply access to any type of chimney no matter the location of the chimney on the roof. Scaffold boards and even foam (under ridge tiles) are placed under the scaffold to evenly distribute the loadings and reduce the possibility of broken tiles, breakages are sometimes unavoidable so we would work closely with the contractors during the striking of the scaffold to ensure any broken tiles are replaced as the scaffold comes down.
