River Works Scaffolding
RIVER WORKS SCAFFOLDING
Working near water presents its own unique challenges when it comes to installing scaffold. At Thames Valley Scaffold we have vast experience working near or even in water and have undertaken several projects along River Thames from the lock keeper’s cottage in Abingdon, all the way through South Oxfordshire, Berkshire and up to the Thames Barrier in London. Permission to erect these scaffolds is issued by the environment agency along the non-tidal stretch of the river Thames and the Port of London Authority when working on the tidal Thames. These licences require detailed method statements and risk assessments along with structural design drawings for the installation, all of which are taken care of by Thames Valley Scaffold.
